GroomerLiz has 35 years experience, coast to coast.  From her start in, Ritten House Square Philadelphia, Northern California, Central Florida and finally, Bogart/Athens Georgia.  

She has taught many as well as her son, Jason.

 

While, GroomerLiz may only groom small dogs, her son Jason with 8 years experience, grooms the large and small dogs.

 

We have a kind and gentle approach to grooming.  There's no secret, many dogs loathe the bath and drying and some, even the clipping but if they love the person doing it all, even they don't think all of that fuss is so bad and enjoy coming to see us.

 

There are no nooses around the necks of the dogs, GroomerLiz has on her groom table.  She works with her electric table in a low position and sits with them during their groom process. Her theory is, "People would have a negative reaction to having a noose put around their neck while a service was being performed on them, so why wouldn't our dogs"?  The dogs are so comfortable with her, they usually just lay down and stand up when asked.  Restraint or manhandling is never done at, A Wee Bit Knotty Pet Salon.  We'd rather admit defeat than to restrain.  So far we haven't had to give up on any furbabies.
